Style, Function and Durability are attributes you should consider when choosing furniture. Here’s why…

Style: What’s you style? The style or styles you choose are typically based on what you like and what will go with the architecture of your home. It’s often will make the first impression as people enter the room and will influence other decisions down the road.

Function: How does it work? Does it serve as a table and a storage unit? Is it a couch that pulls out into a bed? Look for furniture with multi-purposes.

Durability: What is the life expectancy of it? If someone spills something how do you clean it? Price often reflects durability, but make sure you get what you are paying for.

Assignment: Explore the internet and magazines for furniture ideas for the room you are planning. Print/clip any ideas for your inspiration folder.
